Absentee ballot applications are available at the Registrar of Voters Office (70 Allen Street) or by visiting the City of Pittsfield website.
To be eligible to receive an absentee ballot, a voter must be unable to vote at their polling place on Election Day due to one or more of the following:
Absence from the city;
All Absentee Ballot requests for the Preliminary Election must be received (not postmarked) by the Registrar of Voters Office no later than 12 p.m. on Monday, September 16. Applications are accepted via mail, fax, or email, or in person.
Absentee ballots are also available in multiple languages via the Secretary of State’s website.
